Jim and Kathy Richardson at Small World Gallery in Lindsborg are always ready to celebrate life in the Smoky Valley. On Friday the two will be displaying at their store the billboard kits that were decorated by artists, families and youngsters from around the area, expressing what they love about living in Little Sweden.
Richardsons handed out the kits last month as a hands-on challenge, hoping the area’s robust creative spirit would be poured into the small scale projects.
“It’s not a contest,” Kathy said. “We think it’s going to be a fun, creative time. No pressure!”
Friday, January 10, from 5 - 8pm Jim and Kathy are inviting everyone to stop by Small World Gallery at 127 North Main Street to see the billboards and for your chance to learn about King Knut’s Surprise Tree and to take part in the plunder of gifts and goodies that will be on and under the tree.
Small World Gallery is just one of many stops for the January Makers Street Art Walk in Lindsborg. For a complete list of activities visit the Makers Street Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pg/MakersStreet.artwalk/events/
