The two grew up in the same town and Chad said he first noticed Kendra in the 6th grade while she played a heart shaped electric guitar in the church praise band. “I was smitten, so I tried to learn the bass so I could fit in,” he said. The two found friendship, and then marriage, after they reconnected at college in Abilene, Texas. Both are now part of the Bethany College staff.
