Greg and BrookeAnna Peterson are newlyweds with a new dream, turning their farm (The Heights) just northwest of Lindsborg into a venue for hosting receptions and agricultural education. Greg, a founding member of the YouTube sensation Peterson Farm Bros, has a passion for sharing his love of farming with the world. "We've had a few field trips with kids coming out and seeing the sunflowers, and these kids' faces just light up," Peterson said. "A lot of them had never been in a sunflower field and they learn so much about how these plants grow and what we do with them."
Brothers Greg, Nathan and Kendal Peterson produced their first YouTube video in 2012, which went viral within the first week. To date they have 13 parody videos, along with other entertaining and ag education content. Their speaking tours have helped them travel around the world, but their homes are still here in the Smoky Valley with their families. Besides The Heights, other new ventures for the Peterson families include beef for local sale, a Farmhand 4x4 UTV, group farm tours, and Morton building rental for wedding receptions and other group gatherings near the foot of Coronado Heights.
